THE LAW OFFICE OF CREIGHTON B. LAZ
Creighton graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southwestern University School of Law in 1982, earning the American Board of Trial Advocates Award for Excellence in Preparation for Trial Practice of the Law.
He has tried in excess of 150 trials, is rated “AV” by Martindale - Hubbell (very high to pre-eminent legal ability and very high ethical standards) and has been named as a “Southern California Super Lawyer” by Law & Politics and Los Angeles magazine for five straight years.
Creighton has been practicing in Orange County since 1982, handling most felony and misdemeanor cases, including embezzlement, white collar crime, homicide, domestic violence, election code violations, burglary, robbery, crimes of violence, narcotics/drugs, etc.
With his experience as a Deputy District Attorney (including President of the Orange County District Attorneys Association) and involvement with the courts, Judges and Deputy District Attorneys since that time, he understands how the criminal justice system operates and how best and most effectively to represent his clients and their interests.
While an advocate for his clients and always willing to go to trial, Creighton believes that being able to get along, without being confrontational, and seeking a resolution that his client can live with and is fair is the best approach. . . how best not to unnecessarily disrupt the lives, hopes and future of clients and their families.
